Join us to decorate rocks with joyful words, colorful patterns, or things inspired by nature. We will hide them around the lower forest and playscape area for folks to find and in preparation for a rock scavenger hunt on April 9th at 2:30 pm! We will be outdoors, cancelled in case of heavy rain.

Warmer weather means more metamorphosis! We'll leave the FOC at 2:30 to go to the nearby pond and look for tadpoles, frogs, and salamanders! Wear waterproof shoes and clothes you don't mind getting messy. Cancelled in case of heavy rain.

Lots of birds are or will be leaving their nests soon now that spring is in full-swing! Help feed these young birds by crafting birdfeeders from natural foods/materials. Take some home to attract birds for you to view and enjoy or we will hang them around the FOC.
Explore activities that demonstrate weather phenomena! We'll play with cotton balls to make different kinds of clouds, make tornados in bottles, and more. Weather is a huge part of the natural world even though it isn't a living thing!
