Farm & Forest Festival

Join us to celebrate our land-based programs at Berea College–the Berea College Farm/Farm Store, Forestry Department & Horse Program, and Forestry Outreach Center!
10:00am-12:00pm: Draft Horse Barn Open House, 140 Short Line Pike Berea, KY 40403
See the barn and farm and meet a few of the College’s draft horses!
12:00pm-3:00pm: Festivities & Demonstrations, the Pinnacles, 2047 Big Hill Rd. Berea, KY 40403
Tabling and activities by land-based Berea College initiatives and community groups!
Horse Harnessing Demo – 1:00 pm, paddock by FOC building
Horse Logging Demo – 1:20 pm, across a small bridge & steps in the woods
Tractor-pulled wagon rides – 2:00-3:00pm, across a small bridge & steps in a field
Join the Chili & Cornbread Cookoff!

- Tasting and judging between 12:30 and 1:00pm
- Winners in each category announced at 1:15 pm
