Family Activity: Likin’ Lichen Walk

While many plants lay dormant for the winter, there’s still a lot of green to be found in forest.

We’ll leave at 2:00pm to go on a slow-paced, child led walk in the lower forest to learn about lichen and moss. We can collect some to bring back and examine under a microscope!

This is geared towards elementary ages. Look for our lichen walk geared towards upper ages and adults on February 17th!
