Community Education is a primary goal of the Berea College Forestry Outreach Center, and it takes many forms. Center staff will work with leaders to plan activities to fit the needs of a wide variety of groups across a range of ages, from after-school clubs to scouts to adult learners. Group leaders can consult tabs on the education page to explore of the variety of activities offered for different age levels.

In addition, the Outreach Center hosts a variety of events for learners of all ages. These are featured on our newsletters and on the Upcoming Events tab on our website. The most recent newsletter is listed below.

Some of these events are coordinated by members of our volunteer group Friends of the Berea College Forest. To learn more about volunteer opportunities at the Center, go to the Volunteer tab on this website.
