If you have one of your own\, bring it along! Jeff can answer any questions you might have about setup and viewing. \nThe FOC staff will also guide a short walk in the woods to look for critters. Please bring a flashlight! \nThose who stay until 10:45 will be treated to a rare occultation (covering up) of the bright star Antares\, in Scorpius.  Bring your telescope or binoculars!

DESCRIPTION:We will be mulching some of the trees in the lower forest area here at the Pinnacles. Mulching has many benefits including helping with water retention and adding nutrients to the soil as the mulch breaks down. This area gets a lot of use by hikers as well as during the annual craft festival\, so this will help give back. \nMany hands make light work\, so we would love to see you 3:30-5:00pm! Please bring a pair of work/garden gloves if you have them.
