The Forest gets by with a little help from its friends--namely, Friends of the Berea College Forest.

These college and community members volunteer for such activities as trail maintenance, invasive species control, and litter clean-up. They also lead specialized hikes, give presentations, and serve as greeters in the Forestry Outreach Center.

Any volunteers with ideas or suggestions are welcome! Nina Verin developed the Documentary Dialogues, our film event held each month. Sarah Hall will be leading some special topic hikes in the coming weeks. Talk with or email Wendy Warren (wendy_warren@berea.edu) for questions or ideas!

The Center and the activities surrounding it are what we can dream of together!

We have a newsletter detailing any events and volunteer activities coming up!
