Environmental Literacy begins with connections. In order to value and care for earth systems, people of all ages must deeply feel and understand their connections to the natural world. This process is inherently interdisciplinary. This “Connecting to Nature” session will begin where we live. We will actively engage in reading and writing as a way to observe closely and think deeply about the meaning of home and where our roots as humans actually lie. Can be adapted for grades 4-adult. 1-2 hours.
